1. The free trial is the try-before-you-buy
Every new organization gets 14 days free with no payment card required. If FOGProof isn't for you, do nothing — the trial ends on its own, no charge is made, and nothing is owed. Your records stay exportable (email us and we'll send a complete copy).
2. Cancel anytime, self-serve
- Cancel from Settings → Billing → Manage billing, which opens our Stripe-hosted billing portal. No emails, no phone calls, no retention scripts.
- Cancellation stops all future charges. Your plan stays fully active until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then downgrades.
- Your data is not deleted by cancelling — export it in-product or request a copy.
3. Refunds
- Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial months. Cancelling avoids future charges rather than refunding past ones.
- Billing mistakes are always ours to fix: duplicate charges, charges after a completed cancellation, or amounts that don't match your plan will be refunded in full — email [email protected] and we'll correct it promptly.
- Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under law.
4. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and we email you. There is a short grace period during which the Service keeps working; if payment continues to fail, paid features are suspended until billing is fixed. Your records are never deleted for a failed payment.
5. Price changes
If a price change affects your plan, you'll get at least 30 days' notice by email before it applies to a renewal — always time to cancel first.
